Godwin Ndubuisi Aleke

A section of our masses has come to appreciate him for his honest stand. Religion and tribalism has blinded the other section from recognising this true messiah who would haveliberated us. The political elitist rogues who have held back our nation have played up religion and tribalism, well instigated with lies, to stop the masses from giving their support to the only man that understands our pains.
We have refused to love him because we are unworthy and unintelligent people. We cannot appreciate him because we lack the mental ability to remember our yester-years. Our youths down south know little about his antecedents because our schools failed to teach us enough history of our immediate past. We are sacred of what he stands for, because corruption has become our world. He is a lone voice in the Nigerian wilderness.
But the masses of the north that benefitted most from the wonders he performed with the little N6.50 per litre of fuel allocated to Petroleum Trust Fund love him. The few from the south who appreciate the havoc corruption has wretched on our lives; the few who appreciate the insincerity of our past and present leaders; the few that see the need for a break from our dirty and unserious past as a nation; wanted Buhari as our President. We wanted him as President, because we desired a leader that will tell us the truth at all times. We desired a simple but honest servant leader, as Buhari has shown to be over the years. We wanted a man who can lead us without looting our treasury as has become a norm in our land. We dreamed a president that will be totally committed for the liberation of the potentials in our persons and our resources-base which the leadership of the yester-years have held hostage.
We wanted Buhari because over the past twelve years, PDP as a party had proved to be incapable of combating corruption in our land. We wanted Buhari because PDP has proved itself to be a house of the biggest looters of public office. We wanted Buhari because PDP is incapable of reworking our infrastructure without stealing our funds; PDP is incapable of protecting our economy and our national currency. PDP is incapable of initiating the Nigerian Revolution that will give us a better nation and a better live.
But we realize that we have lost it again. We admit that with manipulations and lies, our next four years had been made to become another of the same deprivations and failed hopes. We admit that another failed transition has taken place; a transition from failed government to a government of no focus who will certainly fail. We admit, we will want Jonathan Goodluck to prove us wrong for the good of our people. We want him to repent from the old PDP ways and give us a fresh hope. But we strongly believe that given all his antecedents, given all that we have know about the PDP ways, there is little hope for change; there is little grounds for a good government.
We are preparing for another challenge come 2015. Our struggle is a continuums; our task is a continuous struggle for the liberation of our people. We want the lovers of the Buhari principle in our nation to coalesce to one political party, for a fight against the looters of our political office. We enjoin all haters of corruption and indiscipline to join for the liberation of our nation.
We want Buhari to supervise the emergence of a common platform for another challenge. He should do it, as a father that he is; he should do it, as a “pass-over baton” to the younger generation. He should help us to accomplish the task he has set before us. He should help us to immortalize his name by starting the Nigeria Revolution he dreamed.
The Future belongs to us – the disciples of Buhari. We are the future liberators of the Fatherland. For the good of the fatherland and our people, for the good of the common humanity; we must remain in the struggle.
The future we dreamed of while supporting Buhari will certainly come. It can only be delayed. Come 2015, another Buhari will emerge to lead our struggle for liberation. We cannot stop now; our struggle comes to an end when freedom and good governance comes to our land.
