In an unprecedented display of Islam as a religion of “peace;” there is no occasion, in spite of the fragile security situation in Nigeria, nay northern part of the country where the true meaning of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) message to mankind was demonstrated than penultimate edition of the annual Maukibi celebration commonly known as “Waliyyai festival” by millions of adherents of Qadiriyya Sect in Nigeria, neighboring African countries and far middle east.
